ON Hive Community Programs: Bow-drill Fire Making Workshop

BOW-DRILL FIRE MAKING WORKSHOP

Bring a sack lunch.
Bring a sharp fixed blade knife.

The day will cover making and using a bow-drill kit with a focus on knife safety and technique. Participants will carve their own kits from provided materials and try their hand at friction firemaking. Other skills include fire structure, wood selection, cooking fires, and naturalist skills.
