2026 Outside Now Summer Camp Questionnaire
One of the things that makes Outside Now programs unique is that our mentor teams do their best to gain a clear and holistic picture of each and every participant. A core principle of our mentorship philosophy is to identify the unique edges and challenges that every child faces, and to then find creative ways to help guide that child into a greater experience of nature, themselves, and their peers. One might easily understand how this aim of ours could unfold over the course of our 9-month programs, but even our week-long summer camp programs become very personalized, with curriculum that shifts based on what our mentor team believes will be most beneficial for participants.
Due to the shorter time frame of our summer camps, our mentor teams often need to adapt rapidly to changing group dynamics. We find it very helpful for mentors to know a little bit about each child before the camp begins, so that they can begin envisioning an appropriate flow to the week that will best fit that week’s participants. By taking some time to answer these questions, you might significantly enhance our mentor team’s ability to facilitate incredibly memorable experiences for your child.
